JOHN KOSOVICH WINES
2022 PINOT NOIR
The 2022 growing season was excellent in the region. Good rain early in the season and we had great fruit set. Selected clones in our vineyard include MV6, 115 and 777. For best results the fruit is cropped at low levels of approximately 1.5 ton per acre. All grapes are hand harvested and fermented in open tank with some portion whole bunch fermented. Tasting Notes: Medium fine colour. The wine offers aromas of spice, clove, cherries and subtle oak. The mid palate has weight and shows a fine tannin structure, ensuring the wines cellaring potential for 10 years. The wine is vibrant and shows complexity. It has a fine structure, focus and a persistent length all with a soft finish. A great pairing with game dishes or cheese. Alc Content: 13% Cellar Door RRP: $50.00 Available at: Tall Timbers Bottle--O, Manjimup BottleMart, Cellar Door (Swan Valley) or online.

LILLIAN
2023 PINOT NOIR
John Brocksopp is a wine industry legend, having played a major role, as viticulturist for Leeuwin Estate and the development of Margaret River in the early days. In retirement, he tends his Pemberton vineyard and quietly makes some of WA’s best-value premium wines in an icy-cold, deep-set valley on Pemberton’s perimeter. His is a plush pinot style, reflecting the warmth of vintage, with ripe berry fruit, maraschino cherries, vanilla oak and a prickle of spice. In short, it’s a powerful pinot. The intensity and length are impressive. Flavours linger for minutes. While not a delicate, this is an extraordinary wine and worthy of a special occasion. -Paul Edwards, The West Australian, Dec 2022 Tasting notes: Bouquet: Cherry, Raspberry, Sweet Spice Palate: Cherries, Wild Strawberry, Plush Alc content: 13.9% RRP Price: $60.00 Available at: Manjimup BottleO (Tall Timbers)

PEMBERLEY
2022 PINOT NOIR
Singing of Pemberton, this pinot could be from nowhere else. Brambly red cherry, strawberry and green olive direct the aromas, with hints of crushed coffee, white spice and white chocolate playing minor but significant roles onstage. On the palate, this is an elegant pinot, moving down the light and fine path, rather than full and dense. Not quite fine-boned, this has an elegant structure that holds all the intense fruit together, the tannins are finely woven throughout. Alc content: 13.5% Cellar Door Price: $35.00 Available at: Cellar door, Pemberton Liquor Barons, Pemberton BottleMart, Manjimup BottleMart, Manjimup BottleO (Tall Timbers)

PICARDY
2022 PINOT NOIR
Excellent fruit intensity, structure, pH to acid relationship and fine-grained tannins guarantee long life and excellent bottle development. The wines are also very approachable in their early years. Since the first vintage in 1996, an increase in new clonal plantings and an advance in vine age has resulted in wines of greater texture, structure and complexity. Picardy Pinot Noir consists of 11 clones: upright, droopy (existing clones in Australia) and clones 114, 115 and 777 (which are special selections from the University of Dijon) as well as 6 new clones imported from Burgundy. It took 21 years - from the time Bill supervised the sourcing of these clones - until the last one was finally delivered to Picardy from quarantine in 2011. Cellar Door RRP: $59.00 Available at: Hidden River Estate, Manjimup BottleO (Tall Timbers), Manjimup BottleMart, Pemberton Liquor Barons

PICARDY
2022 PANNELL FAMILY PINOT NOIR
The Pannell Family Pinot Noir is the value selection from Picardy Wines. Eagerly hunted by those in the know, this is a label that can exceed even the loftiest of expectations, particularly in a strong vintage like 2022. Opening up with beautiful floral notes and summer fruits, with bright, slightly candied cherries, earthy undertones and a hint of five spice driving the palate. The quality of tannins, balance of the wine and purity of fruit are impeccable at this price point: often a difficult one at which to find quality Pinot Noir. Very much a serious wine in itself, and a brilliant introduction to the forthcoming 2022 reds. Cellar Door RRP: $35.00 Available at: Available at: Hidden River Estate, Manjimup BottleO (Tall Timbers), Manjimup BottleMart, Pemberton Liquor Barons

Tasting notes: Bright aromas of black cherry and raspberry with sweet spicy notes and earthiness. Abundant flavours of black cherries and forest berries with earthy notes supported by lingering, soft tannins, and fresh red fruitiness. Soft and flavoursome on the finish. SILKWOOD ESTATE
2023 THE WALCOTT PINOT NOIR
Cherry and dark chocolate with hints of truffles. Concentrated dark berry flavours mingle on the palate, with elegant oak spice and fine tannins and earthiness with a lengthy savoury finish. Consistent rain over Winter and Spring recharged the ground water as a result the vineyard was not watered leading up to the 2022 harvest. This has allowed for even healthy growth. Fruit set was moderate which led to less than average yields across all varieties. A cool summer gave the vines a long ripening period, as a result our Whites are crisp and vibrant with concentrated flavours and the Reds are elegant and flavoursome with fine tannins. Cellar Door RRP: $35.00 Available at: Cellar door, Manjimup BottleMart, Manjimup BottleO (Tall Timbers), Pemberton Liquor Barons, Pemberton BottleMart

This wine is a blend of three different Pinot Noir clones; 40% MV6, 30% 777, 10% D5V12. Tasting notes: Aromatics of crushed black cherry and cranberry with hints of earthiness. On the palate you'll find concentrated flavours of black cherry and Satsuma plum. Smithbrook wines capture the essence of what the beautiful Pemberton region has to offer. This Single Vineyard Pinot Noir shows red cherry, strawberry, and earthy forest floor. SOUTH BY SOUTH WEST
2023 PINOT NOIR
2023 marks our sixth vintage of making Pinot Noir. This year marks the second consecutive vintage sourcing fruit from the same vineyard in the Pemberton area within the Southern Forest region. This Pinot Noir is a conferment of two clones – 114 and 115. Over the six vintage we have been fortunate to work with a number of Pinot Noir clones and after a couple of years of understanding 114 and 115 we feel the Aristotle phrase, ‘the whole is greater than the sum of its parts’ applies here with the 114 providing the aromatic line and the 115 providing the structure to combine and produce a delicate and joyful expression of Pinot Noir in a bright and lifted style. Alc Content: 13.5% Cellar Door RRP: $40.00 Available at: Manjimup Bottlemart (Tall Timbers)
